Members of Team BRIT spent the day with partner, Fraikin last week, as they attended a key event.
Fraikin is part of the largest commercial vehicle fleet services company in Europe, providing fleet management, contract hire and rental solutions to both the private and public sector. It has been a loyal sponsor of the team since 2016 and has renewed its support for the 2018 season.
On Wednesday 31st January, Fraikin held its annual supplier conference and invited members of Team BRIT to attend.
Over 200 attendees heard from drivers Jimmy Hill and James Russell, along with Commercial Director Mike Scudamore. Mike gave an overview of the team, its achievements and goals, and Jimmy and James spoke about their background, their disabilities and their hopes for the team.
The team’s 158 Fun Cup car took pride of place in the conference room, with delegates spending time looking round the car and speaking with the team.
CEO of Fraikin Ltd, Ed Cowell said, “We are delighted to have renewed our sponsorship with Team BRIT for the coming season, so our annual Supplier Conference seemed the perfect place to celebrate the achievements of the team so far, and to introduce their inspirational story to the companies we work most closely with.
“The presentation from the guys really captured the imagination and everyone present was keen to learn more – the Fun Cup car being in the room definitely caused a stir! Looking forward, everyone at Fraikin would like to take this opportunity to wish the team luck, both for the upcoming Fun Cup season and with the exciting launch of the new Aston Martin – it should be a thrilling ride and Fraikin is honoured to be there every step of the way.”
